Sherrie' Darnise Burrell is Principal and Founder of Sherrie Burrell Consulting, and Women of Excellence/Men, Inc . She is also business partner with Mario Rosemond of GoldTone Entertainment, LLC in Burbank, California. She implemented numerous executive producing events such as the National Youth Empowerment Forum, The African American Men/Women Summit, Higher Learning Education Conference, and How to Use Media Effectively Seminars. She has served as Sr. VP of Communications for GoldTone as well as public relations consultant for Tavis Smiley Presents. In January 2011 Sherrie launched "Burrell Speaks" - a national speakers/lecture bureau focusing on Top Executives, Authors and Professional Speakers. She is a founding member for the Joseph Rosemond Foundation with special program The Andrea Rosemond Project for Breast Cancer.
Sherrie is a member of the National Association of Professional Business Women representing Beverly Hills, California; Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, National Council of Negro Women, Professional Business Women of California, The Public Relations Society of America, and Board Director for the Joseph Rosemond Foundation. She is certified as a professional editor and proofreader and certified Power Business Writing Skills recipient. She is an alumni of Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe majoring in Science and Architectural Design.
Her new book: My Mother's Cookbook will launch in mid 2012 - a recipe story of her mother's kitchen passed down to her. She is also a contributor for Tavis Smiley America I AM Cookbook with Chef Jeff Henderson released in early 2011 and noted as APPLAUD in Black Meetings and Tourism.
Sherrie's first novel: Hatred-A Need to Have It will launch in late 2012.
